Present a local presence to your customers; Have all your inbound calls managed by inContact

inContact Local Number service from UCN provides inContact customers the option of obtaining 10-digit local telephone numbers that can be managed through the inContact call handling system. Now, UCN inContact customers can choose to use toll-free numbers and local numbers as contact methods for their inbound traffic. This product is an inbound product only, and is billed like a toll-free number on a per-minute basis.
Businesses that will benefit from inContact Local Numbers service include, but are not limited to, auto dealerships, real estate and insurance agencies, banks and credit unions, large medical practices and hospitals, answering services, financial services, educational institutions, or any business that wishes to present a local telephone number to customers in a specific calling area.
Who Benefits from inContact Local Numbers?*
- Existing UCN customers can now manage both their national toll-free traffic and local-originated inbound traffic through one call handling system, inContact.
- Out-of-state or in-state companies that do not have a local presence in specific calling areas, but wish to present a local telephone number in one or more markets, can now manage all calls through one common call handling system.
- Businesses that are re-locating but wish to retain a local telephone number.
* Be advised, this product is NOT a replacement for local calling service and does not support fax communication or typical local features such as E-911, Directory Listing or Directory Assistance. Not all calling areas are supported by inContact Local Numbers Service.
Local Number Portability
As most numbers will be portable, when a company submits an order request, UCN will inform the customer at that time if there are local number(s) that are not portable from the existing carrier to the UCN network. Most local numbers in primary and secondary markets will be portable. Rural, third tier markets are the calling areas where UCN may, from time to time, encounter non-portable numbers.
